Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @CheerBear , sitting in the sun and painting with the birds sounds perfect to Me.  Shopping can always wait. I've never had much to do with cat's, but, my parents adopted a stray a few years ago and she's certainly grown on Me.

She's deaf and the queen of the house now.  Usually she has 3 or 4 meals on the go per day as well as dishes for her milk (full cream only) and water.

Re: Taking the plunge

Cats are awesome @Gazza75 😊. They can be very regal (or they behave like they are at least 😁). Love that your parents adopted a stray and now she's queen. Lucky catty ❤

I have three rescues - a queen kind of one who is aloof and tough, a goofy fluff ball sook, and a teeny little one who is boss of them/us all. I'd be lost without them.

The sunshine was nice but it didn't last 😏 I hope your day is going well.

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @CheerBear , you really do like cats 🙂

Sounds like quite the collection of characters you have.  Funny the smallest rules the roost.  Hopefully the sun is out later or not to far away.

I had a hand reared (bottle fed) calf that thought he was a dog. He grew up with 2 dogs (one was a pup), they used to sleep under my house together to keep warm, but, the cow got to big and he used to have to crawl to get underneath.  He'd make quite the racket banging around and bumping his head on the floor.  The first time I saw the calf was at night and he trotted out of the laundry and through my lounge room.

He'd let you scratch him all over just like a dog, he used to follow us around with the dogs as well.  🙂

The dogs were a friends who used to live at my farm, he's moved onto somewhere else now.  I sold the calf to a friend so I still get to see him and give him a scratch.

I don't mind the rain for a few days, as it feels like a long time since we've had anything of note.  Should give all the plants and trees a nice boost in time for spring.  I've noticed a few of the wattles in flower the last few weeks which is always a nice sign of things to come.  Only a few hours left at work so the day is going pretty well.

@Mumi I hope you are travelling okish, you too @Former-Member lots of these💕💜💕

@CheerBear I ended up painting a stone before Mr Should became uncomfortably noisey, so duties done. LF will be home and your day has become hectic. Lots of these.💕💜💕💜

Very much thinking of you, hoping your are making it through. 💕💜💕

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Maggie , yes I'll be doing some more diamond painting, hope to finish off the current one by the end of the week if I can. Might be wishful thinking there.  Probably take the night off from the gym and give myself a bit of a rest.  We'll see, I could get bored and restless. 💕

Nice to see you @Former-Member 💕

Have a nice afternoon and evening everyone 🙂
