The Weekly Friday Feast

@Bunniekins @Shaz51 @Jacques @TAB the paintings in my room I did them while I was staying up the hill in Victoria in this monastery so far away in the bush. I was so unwell, just came out of hospital, had much troubles with work and my family. I drove for hours to get there and passed out when I got there. The monks took me in. I went to church and I heard them sing. They sang through the nights as well on and off. I dreamt of all the hardships and great difficulties I was having. In the mornings, I painted and painted the bush surrounding, I was there in the hill for a week. The surroundings were quiet with animals only. At night, I can see the light in the church. Heard the wind and the monks sang. Somehow I knew I had to leave where I was. I left my work then. Drove a long way to find work. I had a friend only. That only just got me through. I was back in hospital. Then I dreamt farming , growing flowers in the fields. For weeks I was in delirium. Gradually I got better. My mum came to see me. Then I got home. I got my mess home. Still untouched from two years ago. So some nights at home, in my bed, I listen to the wind and traffic, hearing the prayers again. I remember the happy. Unhappy times of my life. Then I drift in and out of sleep. Knowing I am lucky.

Evening all, well we did the lease today and got the keys to our new house, very cold inside as has no aircon or heating, I'm  going through salvation army who can help get one for us, utilities get put on Tuesday and foxtel coming same day, and im looking at maybe changing our internet to another company as the one where with now(im not sure if im allowed to say who they are) say it will take 21 business days for them to change it and 3 weeks to me seems a long time. The 4 bedrooms are nice and big, the house needs an overhaul as pretty old, but there doing a renovation nect year so that will be nice, it has a good size back yard for our 2 dogs and jaffa my cat.

we had burgers for tea as haven't really done proper shop yet. trying to organize everything for move, scared i will forget to do things.

I have some marshmallows that we can cook over the fire which will be yum.

Might only be able to check on here every now and then as not much charge left on tablet so just in case have a good night.
